"The Saddle Strings," Dave and Don, have been playing Western music together since 2004.  For the first year or two, they played primarily at the Howard, Colorado resort, Bandera's Bunkhouse. specializing in horse-drawn wagon rides, BBQ dinners, and a live Western music show.  During the past three years, "The Saddle Strings" has played at a variety of other venues including:  The Royal Gorge, Colorado State Fair, Holy Smoke BBQ, Canon City Blossom Festival, Buena Vista Gold Rush Days, Tuesday Music in the Park, Canon Rose Theatre, Cowboy Church, and many others.  The group also plays for private parties, arrangements for which can be made by phone, email, or by contacting Bandera's Bunkhouse at 719-942-3811.

From January through March, 2010, "The Saddle Strings" performed at a variety of RV parks in and around Apache Junction, Arizona.  They were joined by their wives, Teresa and Debby.  The girls are an integral part of the shows, singing, leading group singing, and teaching line dancing, The Texas Waltz, and others.  They're the good looking ones in the middle of the photo.
